About the Team:

Firebolt’s DDL Metadata Team is responsible for DDL statements execution, database & schema Integrity, RBAC and providing reliable metadata information for firebolt control & dataplane.

Your responsibilities

• Take a key position in our R&D team.
• Take part in the definition of our product design and architecture.
• Design, build, and maintain our cutting-edge metadata solution.
• Work closely with other Firebolt teams to provide a seamless data experience.

Must have:

• 3+ years of proven experience as a professional developer of production software
• 2+ years of experience working with modern C++ (14 and above) on production software
• Hands-on experience building large-scale distributed systems 
• Experience working with databases and understanding of SQL language
• Experience developing for Linux
• Excellent analytical skills
• Last but not least expertise in Algorithms, Data Structures, Concurrency, and Design Patterns. Clean & well-tested code is a must!

A bonus if you have: 

• Experience with database internals - Compilers and Execution - a very big plus
• Experience using Go and Python
• Experience with more than one technology stack
