The Wallet Flows team is leading a strategic transformation of Fireblocks core infrastructure. We're methodically redesigning and rewriting major system components to create next-generation architecture that enhances security, scalability, and performance.

What You'll Do:
- Lead through influence—your expertise will carry weight across teams, shaping how we approach our toughest technical challenges.
- Architect and deliver mission-critical components that power billions in digital asset transactions.
- Mentor and share your hard-earned wisdom through code reviews, pair programming, and technical deep dives.
- Balance pragmatism with vision—make smart trade-offs to deliver incremental value while steadily advancing toward our next-gen architecture goals.
- Navigate the practical realities of evolving critical systems without disruption, finding the sweet spot between technical elegance and business continuity.
What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years as Backend engineer, proficient in a wide range of programming languages and versatile programming skills (ability to adapt to any language or technology stack as needed).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience and passion for transforming and modernizing mission-critical production with minimal disruption - Advantage.
- Experience with blockchain or cryptocurrency - Advantage.
