Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines for processing large volumes of data.
• Develop data integration and transformation workflows using Azure data services.
• Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data lake solutions.
• Write efficient and scalable SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation and automation.
• Work with Snowflake for data warehousing, data loading, query optimization, and performance tuning, where applicable.
• Develop and maintain workflow orchestration and data pipeline processes.
• Implement CI/CD practices and deployment automation using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and other business stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, security, governance, and reliability across data platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline, data quality, and performance-related issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Engineering services.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data warehousing, and data lake concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Experience working with cloud-based data solutions and modern data engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Apache Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools is a plus.
• Experience with large-scale data migration and modernization projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
• Relevant Azure, Snowflake, or cloud certifications are a plus.
