Software Engineer (iOS)

The Role

Fidelity Labs is looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to help deliver the best product experience to our customers. We are seeking a developer with a proven track record of shipping major features in production environments, iOS development experience, and deep understanding of blockchain technology backed by demonstrated passion for the space.

• Architect and implement scalable, secure services while maintaining high standards of code quality and system design

• Contribute to mobile development initiatives in the near future (iOS experience)

• Drive engineering best practices, standards, and tooling across the development team

• Provide strong technical presence through code reviews, pair programming with developers, and fostering a collaborative learning environment

• Partner with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver robust solutions that align with business objectives

• Monitor and optimize system performance, implementing proactive alerting mechanisms

• Lead technical documentation efforts to ensure smooth onboarding and knowledge sharing

• Contribute to development initiatives, with iOS experience being advantageous

• Resolve complex technical challenges and architect solutions that scale with business growth

• Drive continuous improvement in development methodologies and engineering processes

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 3+ years of software development experience with a strong portfolio of applications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems (preferred but not required)

• Proven experience with blockchain technologies and their applications

• Knowledge of iOS development using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Combine, and Async/Await

• Demonstrated understanding of concurrent programming and multithreading

• Experience participating in team-based development including code reviews, pull requests, and pair programming

• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms with expertise in object-oriented and functional programming

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
