Position Description:

Develops Web applications supported by RESTful based Web services in a DevOps environment, using Angular, CSS, and HTML. Works in an Agile software delivery environment using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools -- Jenkins and Artifactory. Designs and supports an innovative suite of digital products and services through advanced software development in Microsoft Azure cloud hosted services. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
  • Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
  • Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
  • Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
  • Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
  • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
  • Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
  • Ensures software quality by performing code reviews.
  • Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
  • Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing Web application development supported by RESTful Web services and processing private customer data, using Angular, NgRx, CSS, and HTML.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing Web application development supported by RESTful Web services and processing private customer data, using Angular, NgRx, CSS, and HTML.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing and implementing software solutions, using User Interface (UI) development tech stack -- Angular, HTML, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS; and implementing State Management patterns and frameworks using NgRx or RxJS.
  • DE ensuring secure data storage and designing and developing onboarding flows, money movement, and account openings; and creating designs to store and transport data between subsystems using GraphQL SQL, and Java Database Connectivity (JDBC).
  • DE designing, developing, and integrating Java Web services using Spring Boot and Spring Security according to Service Oriented and micro-services architecture; authenticating applications using oAuth and Spring MVC frameworks; and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Web services using Jenkins and Concourse.
  • DE supporting the full Web application development lifecycle -- analysis, design, development, test, and deployment -- using Source Control version (Git and Stash) and build tools (Maven and Jenkins) according to Agile methodologies.
