Job Description:

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be immersed in every aspect of product development. Your independent voice will ensure that quality is engineered into the product. You will produce fully automated tests for each story within each sprint. You will successfully solve technical issues and seamlessly collaborate with the Squad Lead, analysts, developers, business specialists, and vendors to ensure quality at every step. Your contributions will result in a fully test automated product which will have a direct positive impact on the user experience.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 6+ years’ experience in Quality Automation Engineering
  • Confidence to champion quality engineering.
  • Expertise in front end automation is key
  • Experience in test automation using an established frameworks like Playwright, Selenium
  • Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and other O.O.O. programming languages is key
  • Communication skills that prioritise collaboration.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Leverage experience of Agile to provide ideas that improve sprint deliveries.
  • Experience with requirement analysis, defect tracking, coordinating with team members in different locations, and test reporting and signoff.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to address sophisticated issues.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis on defects.
  • High level of dedication, initiative, vision, and passion.
  • Strong technically and looking for a challenge.
  • Experience with Jenkins CI/CD, job creation and maintenance
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and learn in-house developed tools and practices.
  • Jira and Xray a plus. 

The Team

You’ll be a member of a Web UI development squad on the wider Employee Stock Plan Purchase(ESPP) Net Benefits team. This will mean working closely with other squads both, front end, and application level, in parallel to ensure a streamlined approach to development and testing. The goal of the ESPP Modernization initiative is to create a modernised solution to advance the Stock Plan Services (SPS) vision and be the leading global stock plan provider, delivering solutions that help every employer and employee maximise the value of their equity programs and drive participant engagement and plan sponsor retention. We are looking for someone highly technical that is looking for challenges and is looking for growth within their role.

  • Actively participates in all phases of Development Life Cycle /Agile Project including design, development, and testing.
  • Understands Business Objectives in the context of the team’s work.
  • Contributes to quality architecture and technical designs and ensure designs are aligned with architectural standards.
  • Communicates project status, identify issues/ risks proactively, and escalate effectively.
  • Follows Fidelity standard processes and methodologies for developing high quality secure code.
  • Analysing current processes and propose recommendations for process improvements .
