Senior Data Engineer

Job Description:

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer to join the Cash and Positions Development team in the Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) Technology group.

The Expertise You Have

• BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in Data Engineering.
• Experience in ETL/ELT tools: Informatica or Snaplogic.
• Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.
• Experience working with Oracle/Relational databases.
• Experience in ML and Python is preferred.
• Solid understanding/experience of Cloud technologies and deployments in AWS using EKS, EC2, RDS and Docker is an advantage.

The Purpose of Your Role

The Senior Data Engineer will be part of a global team that focuses on building solutions supporting Fidelity’s Investment Operations group.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analysis, problem-solving and documentation skills coupled with a strong motivation for working in a highly customer-focused environment, who works well in a collaborative, iterative, and fast-paced environment and is used to working in an Agile software delivery team.

The Cash and Positions Development team works within the Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations group which provides accounting and investment management support services for Fidelity mutual funds and other retail and institutional investment products. FFIO are actively seeking an expert Senior Data Engineer to help us deliver our next generation platforms.
