Principal Full Stack Engineer - Node | Angular | React
The Role
As a Principal Full Stack Engineer within the Developer Experience team, you will be contributing to development of internal tools to support the developer community. You will:
- Partner with cross squads to define, design, and ship high-quality software solutions in a technology focused software development space with a focused/driven attitude towards developing and supporting of critical systems.
- Build quality solutions that align with the technology blueprint and best practices to solve business problems by driving systems analysis, design, development, and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with our global team and providing direction in building solutions.
- Provide technical mentoring and leadership to junior members of the development team.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- You are an experienced technologist, specializing in the development and engineering implementation of new technologies.
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related area preferred.
- Strong experience with JavaScript /Typescript for back end.
- Demonstrated experience developing modern UI frameworks with Angular and/ or React.
- Proficient in working with different types of SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, AWS DocumentDB, Neo4j, DynamoDB, AWS RDS, MySQL, Postgres, etc.
- Experiences in analyzing, designing, developing, testing, and implementing enterprise-scale tools.
- Knowledge of Cloud Native Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS /Azure / Google), and CI/CD DevOps including DevSecOps.
- Ability to effectively translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts.
- Strong data driven problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work as a member of a flexible team.

The Team
The Developer Experience engineering team is responsible for building, enhancing and supporting tools that enable developers to be more effective, such as an internal developer platform/ IDP (e.g. Backstage) and TLM dependency tools such as Mend Renovate.
