Job Title – Director - Network Engineering

The Purpose of This Role

As Director Network Engineer in the Network Core and Site Engineering  team will be responsible for Design  Implementation and Managing the LAN/WAN, DC Network and Wireless Network for Fidelity Investments globally.

You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including s, routers, switches, and wireless controllers. A deep knowledge of Datacenter and network infrastructure and Network Automation.

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical / Behavioral

• Lead Network Design process, Implementation and  manage existing Network and Automate to increase the Engineering efficiency.

• In Depth  Knowledge and working experience Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, VPNs.

• Managing Escalation and Troubleshoot critical issues as needed

• Experience with HPE, Cisco routing switching and Multi Vendor Environment.

• Collaborate and Work with Various Technical Teams to design best and Secure Network.

• In Depth knowledge and working experience  on Protocols: PVST, RPVST,  VXLAN, BGP EVPN, QOS

• In Depth Knowledge of Wireshark packet captures

• In Depth Knowledge and working experience of various Network Authentication protocols.

• Very Strong Communication and presentation skills.

• Documentation of complex technologies and topologies

• should be well-versed with all aspects of project management such as team-building, staff training and scheduling.

• Design and implement Multi Cloud service provider network.

• Work with Squad Leads, Product Area Leaders, Team Leads and other Architects to develop platform designs and solution roadmaps.

• Ensuring the solutions that are delivered meet high standards for quality, performance, and scale.

• Looking for ways to reduce cycle time, increase velocity and increase release frequency for teams in the Agile model.

The Skills that are Good to Have for this role

• Experience with Amazon AWS

• Microsoft Azure/O365

• Experience with ExpressRoute configuration and setup (Azure private, Azure public, Microsoft peering)

• RFP/RFI process

• CCIE Certification

• Automation skills such as Python and Ansible

• 15+ years of IT experience

• Graduate

Location: Chennai/Bangalore

Shift timings: 2 PM to 11 PM and On-call
