The Role

Fixed Income Technology is looking for a “hands on” leader for the Fixed Income Investor Tools Development team. This is an important and vital group that is embedded with Fixed Income investment professionals to bring technology to bear on some of the most challenging aspects of the fund management process. This team needs a champion who will foster innovation, enable rapid time to market, and build a community passionate about better developed solutions.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Hands-on development experience across a broad stack of technologies (UI, API, data, etc.) such as Angular, Python, SQL, Shell scripting, Excel VBA
  • 10+ years of professional experience with proven experience leading developers and development efforts
  • Solid understanding of how to use rapid development approaches bringing to bear enterprise capabilities to deliver robust business solutions
  • Demonstrable experience working with development efforts using large data sets, data visualization tools, and databases
  • Experience evaluating vendor software and leading technical vendor engagement
  • Ability to learn new business workflows, concepts, and processes
  • Passionate about using phenomenal engineering to deliver solutions in new and creative ways
  • You have great communication skills and bring excitement that builds collaboration and community
  • You can see the “big picture” impact of small decisions made in the present and are able to influence and empower others to do the same

Due to the breadth and complexity of the various securities held in Fixed Income funds, our technology must keep pace with changes in investment markets, strategies, and regulations. The Investment Tools Development (ITD) team works directly with investment professionals using a suite of technologies and digital tools to build solutions. Asset Management Technology (AMT) provides worldwide technology and support to all the Investment Management, Research, Trading, and Investment Operations functions. AMT is an integral partner for Asset Management to deliver innovative, scalable, industry-leading investment tools that enable Asset Management to achieve competitive advantage globally.
