The Opportunity

FICO is expanding into new core offerings, and we are building a team of people, who will partner with the production support and development teams to define and design database systems and embrace new cloud technologies. Additionally, we work with several other databases, NoSQL, and in-memory computing technologies.” – Hiring Manager

What You’ll Contribute

• As a Data Services Intern you will be working with data services engineers to support our cloud environment, learning about a wide range of database products. 
• Automate deployments for databases in the cloud. 
• Work with internal and external clients to resolve database issues in 24x7 environments.
• Create and verify changes to the infrastructure, document the process, the verification and rollback plans, follow up on requests made through the internal ticketing system.

What We’re Seeking

• Computer Science or related program (Last semester).
• English language proficiency, capable to maintain conversations. 
• Highly self-motivated person, with interest in the latest technology trends. 
• Any experience with database systems (Including but not limited to Relational, Graph, No SQL) and Linux operating systems at user level would be helpful.
• Any exposure to automation scripting (Python, shell) will be a plus. 
• Any experience with Infrastructure as code (Terraform, ansible, etc) will be a plus.
