To achieve our mission, we are looking for bar-raisers with a hands-on mindset who are eager to help shape the future of entertainment!

Ready to be part of the experience?

Now, let’s discuss this role and what you will do to help achieve Fever’s mission.

About the role

We're looking for a Design Lead to own design quality and team growth for one of our core product areas, working with a team of product designers.

You'll bring deep experience designing consumer-facing products. Some of the work here also touches partner-facing surfaces, so experience designing for a business or professional user (even if that wasn't your primary focus) will help. What matters most is how you own outcomes and raise the bar for the team.

You'll manage that team while staying close to the work, stepping in directly on the hardest design problems the team faces, rather than carrying a delivery workload of your own. You'll be the person your team and your peers in Product and Engineering point to when they need a clear read on whether something is good enough to ship and on how the experience will be taken to the next level.

What you’ll do

Tackle challenging design problems

  • Step in on the most ambiguous or highest-stakes problems (zero-to-one work, cross-surface conflicts, anything too undefined for a single designer to own alone).
  • Turn ambiguity into direction the team can execute against, rather than executing it yourself.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership on tradeoffs that span more than one squad or one designer's scope.
  • Set the standard for design quality through the judgment you bring to hard problems, not by owning a piece of the delivery pipeline.
  • Know when AI speeds up a hard problem and when it doesn't, and critically assess AI-generated output with the same rigor you'd apply to any other proposed solution.
  • Help your team build that same judgment in their own workflow.

Lead and grow a team of designers

  • Set the craft bar for your surface and hold the line on it: your reports' output reflects your standard, not just their own judgment. This includes their performance, growth, and career development against that bar.
  • Run regular design reviews and give feedback that's specific enough to act on.
  • Mentor designers on craft, problem framing, and how to operate in ambiguity.
  • Balance time spent on the team's hardest problems with the time your team needs from you day to day.

Raise the quality bar across the team

  • Bring structure to problem framing before anyone jumps to UI.
  • Push for measurable outcomes and clear success metrics on every project.
  • Improve requirement quality with Product and reduce rework.
  • Elevate the level of critique and design discussion within the team.
  • Be the design voice in cross-functional conversations where quality, scope, or timeline get traded off — with Product and Engineering leads on your surface, and with stakeholders elsewhere in the org when the work touches them.

Design with systems in mind

  • Ensure your team designs with reusable components and scalable patterns
  • Reduce inconsistencies and UX debt across the areas you and your team own.
  • Collaborate with engineers to protect system integrity as the product grows.
  • Propose improvements to shared components, documentation, and usage standards.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Track record of holding a quality bar under pressure from stakeholders who wanted to ship faster or cheaper.
  • Extensive experience in product design, including relevant experience as a design lead managing a team of designers.
  • Proven track of the work you've shipped and how you've managed a team of high performing designers.
  • Comfort operating close to hard design problems without owning a delivery pipeline yourself.
  • Deep experience in consumer-facing (B2C) product design. Some exposure to partner- or business-facing (B2B) work is a plus, not a requirement: this role sits mostly on the consumer side, with occasional partner-facing surfaces.
  • Strong systems thinking, with experience contributing to or evolving a design system.
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional squads alongside Product and Engineering.
  • Fluency in English. Ability to work and collaborate in an English-speaking environment.

Bonus points

  • Experience designing for B2B or partner-facing products.
  • Experience in the entertainment or events industry.
  • Proficiency in Spanish.

Perks & Benefits

  • Attractive compensation package consisting of base salary and the potential to earn a significant bonus for top performance.
  • Stock options.
  • Opportunity to have a real impact in a high-growth global category leader
  • 40% discount on all Fever events and experiences
  • Home office friendly
  • Responsibility from day one and professional and personal growth
  • Great work environment with a young, international team of talented people to work with!
  • Health insurance and other benefits such as Flexible remuneration with a 100% tax exemption through Cobee.
  • English Lessons
  • Gympass Membership
  • Possibility to receive in advance part of your salary by Payflow.
