Job Description

UNIQLO is a leading brand of the Fast Retailing Group, one of the largest apparel retailers in the world. UNIQLO respects the individuality and lifestyle of all customers and takes pride in creating high quality, long-lasting, innovative clothing at an affordable price.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Graphic Designer to sit within the local market team, based in our Madrid office. You will be reporting into the Graphic Designer Country Manager, working closely with internal departments, store teams, and external suppliers at a local level.

This is an opportunity for someone with extensive graphic design experience in a retail store environment, who has first‑hand, in‑store experience and who has created and understands how visual communication performs on the shop floor, to support UNIQLO Spain’s continued growth.

As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will work closely with Store Operations, Visual Merchandising, and cross-functional teams to deliver engaging and impactful in-store visual communications across all stores in Spain. You will adapt global and regional guidelines to local market needs, developing and executing creative concepts from start to finish. Leading the design of store campaigns, ad hoc projects, and new store openings, you will ensure consistent, high-quality execution that enhances the customer experience and supports commercial performance.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and adapt visual merchandising concepts and in‑store marketing designs in alignment with global and European guidelines.
  • Customize graphic materials to meet local business needs while adhering to company standards.
  • Create clear, structured guidelines—based on global direction—to support local sales and profit objectives.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate execution of visual merchandising standards across all stores and the broader company portfolio.
  • Identify visual merchandising and in-store marketing challenges in collaboration with Store and Area Managers, proposing targeted and effective solutions.
  • Support the development of visual layouts for new store openings.
  • Manage allocated budgets efficiently.
  • Oversee supplier relationships and ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Skills, Experience and Attributes:

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably within the fashion and retail sectors.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Native Spanish speaker with strong English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and equipped with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Proactive, autonomous, and self‑driven.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across different departments.
    Additional Assets
  • Experience with 3D design and modelling (e.g., SketchUp).

What we offer

  • A great office location in the heart of Madrid, with two days working from home each week
  • A flexible schedule, with responsibility for managing your own time
  • Competitive salary and social benefits, including lunch vouchers
  • Online language classes
  • 30% staff discount across all Fast Retailing brands

Please apply with your CV in English to ensure our talent team can review your application, alongside a portfolio of your previous POS, Window Display and in-store campaign work.
