Senior Frontend Software Engineer

We're looking for a skilled and independent Software engineer  with a strong focus on frontend development to join our Platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building a wide variety of platform features, reusable and high-performance components, and core functionalities that are used across various teams and applications within the organization. This includes features like notifications system, chats, internal and customer-facing admin panels, translations, and other critical platform components that enable other engineering teams to deliver value to our customers efficiently.

As part of the platform team, you will work closely with product managers, designers and other engineers to ensure that the core building blocks of our platform are robust, maintainable  and scalable. 

Key responsibilities:

• Working as part of a cross-functional development team, you will employ a wide-range of skills to deliver features from early design through iterative development, and out to production. 
• Provide technical leadership, defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast-paced, agile environment using the latest technologies and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product managers, technical architects and fellow software engineers to translate requirements and vision into prioritized user stories, delivering to timelines and quality standards.
• Write high-quality code that delivers desired functionality.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of frontend development experience, with a strong focus on Angular and Typescript.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS (SASS), rxjs, API services and core Javascript/Typescript concepts.
• Proven experience working with UI designers and backend engineers to implement features.
• You know and care about modern engineering practices and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform effectively in an agile environment within a team and/or as an individual contributor.
• Experience/interest in working with HTMX is a plus

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture and module federation is a plus.
• Experience with state management solutions like NgRx or similar systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles would be an added advantage.
