DEPARTMENT BRIEF:-

Analytical Product Engineering is responsible for FactSet’s industry leading Portfolio, Risk, Quantitative, and Fixed Income products. These products are used by thousands of Asset Managers around the world every day to assist with investment decisions, analysis of performance, risk management, and the presentation of results. Analytical Product Engineering’s product space represents a high growth opportunity for FactSet.

PROCESS BRIEF :-

The Performance and Reporting Group is currently seeking a talented individual to take on a senior development role within the team. The team is responsible for the development, enhancement and support of tools that helps client to facilitate the time-consuming task of producing many month-end and quarter-end reports. The reports required by the Product Development team to deliver high quality analytics to FactSet’s clients. In this position, the engineer will be participating as an individual contributor, delivering high quality work and mentoring less experienced engineers within the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of SPAR front End and Backend
• Work closely with Product Development and stakeholders on all planned deliveries and day to day needs
• As a senior individual contributor in the team, he/she is responsible for code reviews and mentoring juniors
• Works efficiently  across the full web stack and C++ backend

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 6-9 years of experience in C++ backend development on Linux
• Experience in Front End Technologies like Angular 1.X,VueJS, ReactJS
• Experience in building NodeJS  based restful API/services
• Design experience with multi-tier scalable web architectures
• Experience in NoSQl database will be a plus.
