Job Description
Role Summary
Reporting directly to the Business Analyst Director for ECS, you will:
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Develop SQL queries to analyze our data to support ECS products and services
- Perform peer review and SQL query optimization to enhance execution performance and data quality
- Design and implement data architecture models supporting Business Operations data schemas
- Create data pipelines to automate key business functions and ensure the delivery of critical data for operational oversight
- You will design ETL processes to gather and prepare data from different sources for reporting
- Perform data analysis to support business initiatives and to provide analytical insights that drive strategic decision-making
- Detect trends and patterns in operational data to help resolve operational issues
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business metrics to monitor operational performance
- Communicate data analysis findings to all kinds of stakeholders
- Develop, and present Tableau dashboards to highlight business insights to cross-functional audiences including senior leadership
- Create technical documentation and diagrams including data and process flow diagrams, ER diagrams.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative field or related coursework and experience
- 5+ years of hands-on SQL development
- 3+ years of Data visualization experience
- Proficiency profiling data, including data discovery, cleansing, and analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Apache Airflow
- Experience with GitHub
- Working knowledge of Alteryx
- Experience writing SQL in AWS RedShift
- Working knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization tools
- Scripting experience in Python, R, or similar language

This is a permanent home-based role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
