As an Software Engineering Manager, you will lead and inspire a high-performing engineering team, driving the adoption of best practices, sound architectural design, and robust technical review processes. You will work cross-functionally to ensure that our software delivery is efficient, timely, and aligned with business objectives. You will own the overall technical vision and guide the team toward creating scalable, maintainable, and performant solutions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, especially around AWS cloud services and Java-based architectures.

• • Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to develop their technical and professional skills. • Technical Ownership: Define, implement, and enforce engineering best practices in coding, architecture, and design reviews to ensure the highest quality of deliverables, with a strong focus on AWS infrastructure and Java-based systems.
• • Architecture & Design: Own the architecture for complex systems and services, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and meet current and future business needs, leveraging AWS cloud services and Java technologies. • Technical Reviews: Oversee and participate in technical reviews (code, design, architecture) to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices, with a particular focus on AWS best practices and Java development standards.
• • Delivery Management: Partner with product and project management teams to prioritize, plan, and deliver projects on time and within scope, balancing speed with long-term maintainability. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments (Product, QA, Operations, etc.) to align on project requirements, deployment strategies, and performance goals.
• • Continuous Improvement: Drive the team to continuously improve processes, tools, and delivery mechanisms to enhance efficiency and quality, with a focus on optimizing AWS deployments and Java application performance. • Risk Management: Identify technical risks and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies, especially concerning cloud infrastructure and scalable Java services. • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
