Au sein de notre équipe, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la création de l'expérience initiale pour les clients lorsqu'ils entrent dans l'écosystème Expedia. De la page d'accueil à la navigation, votre travail garantira que les voyageurs peuvent facilement explorer, découvrir et magasiner les produits de voyage idéaux.

Dans ce rôle, vous devrez :

• Créer de nouvelles fonctionnalités: Contribuer au développement de fonctionnalités de haute qualité, résilientes et rapides sur notre application iOS (avec plus de 50 millions de téléchargements!), en se concentrant sur l’écran d'accueil.
• Collaborer et apprendre: Travailler en étroite collaboration avec votre équipe pour concevoir, développer, tester et lancer de nouvelles fonctionnalités, assurant une expérience cohérente sur Android, iOS, le web et les services backend.
• Innover avec UX: Collaborer avec les concepteurs UX pour donner vie aux idées, en fournissant des retours et en suggérant des améliorations aux designs Figma.
• Priorité à la qualité: Écrire des tests automatisés pour garantir que notre code est fiable et soutient l'intégration continue.
• Rester à l’affût: Restez à jour sur les tendances de l’industrie, proposez des améliorations et collaborez avec votre équipe pour les mettre en œuvre.

Expérience et qualifications :

• Développeur émergent: Vous avez 1+ année d'expérience en travail avec des applications iOS, que ce soit par le biais de stages, de projets scolaires ou de votre premier emploi. Une expérience backend est un atout mais non requise.
• Diplômé(e) en technologie: Vous avez récemment obtenu un diplôme en ingénierie ou dans un domaine technique connexe, ou vous avez une expérience équivalente.
• Curieux(se) et résolveur(euse) de problèmes: Vous aimez comprendre le fonctionnement des choses en profondeur et vous aimez résoudre des défis complexes.

Fourchette salariale totale pour ce poste à Montréal : de 86 000$ à 120 500$. Les employés occupant ce poste peuvent augmenter leur rémunération jusqu'à 137 500$, le sommet de l'échelle, en fonction de performances continues, démontrées et soutenues dans le rôle.

Le salaire de départ pour ce poste variera en fonction de plusieurs facteurs, y compris l'emplacement, le budget disponible et les connaissances, compétences et expérience de l'individu. Les échelles salariales peuvent être modifiées à l'avenir.

iOS Mobile Engineer II

We, the Home & Navigation team, shape the first interaction that millions of travelers have with Expedia. We’re looking for an iOS Mobile Engineer II to join our multidisciplinary team (Android, iOS, Web and backend) to craft new features for the Home screen on our native applications, offering you a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and make a real impact.

As part of our team, you'll be instrumental in crafting the initial experience for customers as they enter the Expedia ecosystem. From the home page to navigation, your work will ensure travelers can easily explore, discover, and shop for their ideal travel products.

In this role, you will:

• Build Impactful Features: Contribute to developing high-quality, resilient, and fast features on our iOS app (with over 50M+ downloads!), focusing on the Home screen.
• Collaborate and Learn: Work closely with your team to design, develop, test, and launch new features, ensuring a consistent experience across Android, iOS, web, and backend services.
• Innovate with UX: Partner with UX designers to bring ideas to life, providing feedback and suggesting improvements to Figma designs.
• Quality First: Write automated tests to ensure our code is reliable and supports continuous integration.
• Stay Ahead: Keep up with industry trends, suggest improvements, and collaborate with your team to implement them.

Experience and qualifications

• Emerging Developer: You have 1+ years of experience working with iOS apps, whether through internships, school projects, or your first job. Backend experience is a plus but not required.
• Tech-Savvy Graduate: You’ve recently earned a degree in engineering or a related technical field, or you have equivalent experience.
• Curious Problem-Solver: You love digging into how things work and enjoy solving complex challenges.
• Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited to work with others to deliver high-quality features on time.
• Eager Learner: You're familiar with iOS technologies like Swift, SwiftUI and XCode, and you're eager to learn more.
• Bonus Points: If you’ve dabbled in GraphQL, Apollo, RESTful APIs, JSON, or web services integration, that’s a plus!

The total cash range for this position in Montreal is $86 000 to $120 500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $137 500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
