Exodigo is in search of a Senior Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the Hardware, Algorithm, and Field Operation teams, striving to enhance every facet of our diverse product range according to each team's specifications.
Your position involves close collaboration with hardware and electronics engineers in the creation of integrated, multidisciplinary systems and products. You will spearhead the development of new products, from the ideation phase through POCs and DRs, culminating in the final delivery. You will also engage with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure alignment on technical specifications and objectives.
As part of your job, you will work closely with the Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to facilitate a seamless transition from R&D to production. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will engage in hands-on prototyping and establish test assemblies to validate design concepts.
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering - Must
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in CAD software - Must
- Experience in DFM for 3D printing, machining & sheet metal fabrication - Must
- Experience in collaborating with hardware and electronics engineers - Must
- Experience working with suppliers and contractors (Domestic and international) -Must
- Experience working on multidisciplinary systems and products
- Hands-on capabilities for prototyping and test setup design and assembly
- Experience with design for plastics injection
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in written communication
- Experience in designing mechanical/electro-mechanical systems for outdoor/military use - an advantage
- Experience in PCB design and electronics packaging - an advantage
- Experience working with PDM software - an advantage
