QA & Data Quality Engineer - Data Vault

Description

We are looking for a skilled Data QA Engineer to join our BI & Data Technologies group. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and validating all ETL processes and database scripts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our data solutions. You will develop testing scripts, simulations, and automation based on design specifications, while also troubleshooting issues and identifying root causes in development workflows.

What you’ll be doing:

• Test and approve ETL processes and database scripts.
• Develop testing scripts, simulations, and automated test workflows according to design documents.
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide clear insights into development issues.
• Review and analyze product and development documentation to ensure accurate test coverage.

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience writing SQL queries and scripts.
• Experience working with large-scale data warehouse (DWH) environments.
• Hands-on experience with ETL pipeline testing methodologies.
• Background in data quality testing, test scripts, and STD documentation.
• Ability to read, understand, and analyze product and technical design documents.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Snowflake.
• Experience with SSIS.
• Familiarity with Python.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and workflows.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• High motivation, independence, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills.
