About The Job
We seek a talented JavaScript Developer to join our Web SDK team at Evinced. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our accessibility testing SDKs, focusing on creating tools that enhance web accessibility for developers worldwide.
Your Impact & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain JavaScript Node.js SDKs for web accessibility testing, including libraries for Webdriver.io, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Extend the functionality of supported frameworks to enhance testing capabilities.
- Collaborate on harmonizing SDK frameworks for consistency across different tools.
- Design and develop new SDKs to expand the accessibility testing engine's reach.
- Optimize SDK performance, maintainability, and usability.
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in JavaScript, web development, and accessibility technologies.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and the surrounding ecosystem.
- Proven experience with test automation frameworks (Webdriver.io, Cypress, Playwright).
- Deep understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM manipulation).
- Familiarity with JavaScript build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Rollup, Parcel).
- Experience with version control tools (Git, GitHub).
- Expertise in cross-browser compatibility testing and debugging.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, CircleCI).
Nice To Have
- Understanding of accessibility principles and guidelines (WCAG, WAI-ARIA).
- Familiarity with TypeScript in SDK development.
