Staff Software Architect

Dr Chrono, part of the EverHealth EMR/Practice Management division, is seeking a Staff Software Architect to contribute to our platform modernization efforts. In this role, you will be a key contributor for driving and documenting the architecture of for our next generation of offerings. You will work with customers, cross-company leadership, and all areas of the organization to ensure that we deliver high-quality, engaging, and intuitive products that will drive growth.

You ideally have worked in Healthcare IT and understand the wants and needs of a physician clinical solution. You want to interact with stakeholders and partner with all areas of our organization to develop solutions to solve customer business challenges. You have experience working closely with Product and business leaders to define technical strategy and roadmaps. You have proven technical know-how to turn ideas into user stories, requirements, and prototypes so they can become useful software applications to help our customers succeed. Where:

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with multiple office locations across the U.S. and Canada. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States; if you're near one of our offices and want to work in-office, we can set that up, or this role can be 100% remote. You must be eligible to work in the United States in order to qualify for this role. This role may require periodic travel.

Responsibilities:

• Drive key analysis of the existing products
• Can innovate and drive process improvements when needed
• Document existing architecture
• Contribute to and influence architectural governance
• Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse
• Performance and stability troubleshooting for existing products for stability, etc.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for product enhancements
• Help drive accuracy in team estimation and story pointing
• Key resource for determining architectural requirements for enhancements and sustaining efforts
• Work with engineers/architects to develop multi phased software technology plans

Required Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B SaaS technical architecture with a growth-stage company and personal characteristics that complement the team.

• 6+ years of experience with full-stack healthcare application development using technologies and languages such as Java, C# / .NET, Ruby, JavaScript, etc; solid understanding of technologies such as REST, HTTP, and JSON, APIs, RDBS and SQL; iOS or Android hybrid application development experience using React, Ionic, or similar
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud technologies.
• Deep fluency in software development methodologies and ability to coach/educate others in these methodologies
• Proven track record of working successfully with a professionalized product delivery operation
• A self-starter with a “get it done” attitude, capable of driving projects to completion
• Impeccable integrity and ethical standards
• High energy, participatory style; strong inter-personal skills and the ability to mentor and motivate team members
• Must be comfortable in dynamic work situations within a high-growth portfolio environment
• Strong initiative, keen attention to detail, and complex problem-solving abilities
• Experience in the Healthcare IT space is a must for this role, with experience understanding HIPAA compliance and information/security requirements
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or significant work related experience.

Compensation:

The target base compensation for this position is $145,000 to $175,000 USD in most locations. Final offer amounts will be determined by a variety of factors, including candidate expertise and location, and may vary from this range.
