As a Software Engineer, you’ll be a core member of an agile team, delivering software updates and technical changes to our product(s) that allows our customers to thrive and us to grow as we help them focus on their passion over admin.
You’ll be interested in working out how to best solve technical and delivery challenges, in conjunction with the other engineers in your team, and your product amigos. We’re looking for someone with a passion for the front-end, with strong skills in React/Typescript. We’d like you to couple this with an ability to step outside the front-end and make changes in other areas of the codebase where it makes sense.

You’ll adhere and contribute to our software standards. You’ll identify where maintenance and technical debt are a problem (or going to be!) and contribute to ensuring these are addressed in the backlog or when we do related work.
Primarily you’ll work as part of an agile team to deliver changes as prioritised by the product owner, based on the wider product, engineering or design needs.

What you'll bring.

• 4 years in a software engineering or equivalent role with experience in building SaaS software

• You’ll prefer working in small iterations, learning from experiments and see the value in DevOps principles

• You’ll be familiar with delivery techniques that reduce risk such as feature flagging and partial deploys

• Strong familiarity with React and Typescript

• Experience with C#, .NET, and/or API Design.

• Some experience with React Native would be a bonus!

• Some experience working with IaaS platforms e.g. Azure/AWS

• Team player, must be able to work with others around them

• Demonstrable strong collaboration skills with other engineers across multiple disciplines

• Demonstrable strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to translate technical concepts to less technical audiences where required

• Advocate for, and default to collaborative programming techniques

• Empathetic skills and ability to provide constructive and understandable feedback to others.
