We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to focus on our DynaScape Manage360 product.  This product enables landscape companies to run their business, helping them to manage their customers, opportunities, estimates, proposals, contracts, jobs, visits, schedules, timesheets, and invoices. 

Responsibilities: 

 The Full-Stack Developer will work within a small team of developers and have the following responsibilities: 

•  Help plan, design, write, maintain, improve, and test our web and mobile applications. 

• Assist our customer support team by providing explanations and resolutions to complex problems reported by our users. 

• Give and receive constructive feedback on your team’s work via code reviews and testing. 

• Contribute suggestions and new ideas to enhance performance and usability. 

• Research and develop new solutions using new technologies to update older software systems. 

• Report to a Team Leader and/or Development Manager. 

• Willingly take on other tasks as required.   

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role: 

•  Degree or diploma in Computer Science/related field OR equivalent work experience 

• 1 or more years of software development experience in a professional web-based environment 

• Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, C#, ASP.Net, and SQL 

• Experience with version control software and processes 

• Able to configure and maintain Windows Servers & Services including IIS & MS SQL 

• Ability to learn quickly. 

• Comfortable working at a small, dynamic company 

• Use best practices to document and write quality software, with a commitment to standardization and predictability. 

• Effective presentation and documentation skills. 

• Encourages and accepts personal feedback. 

• Can use judgment to solve problems where protocol might not exist.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience building Blazor web applications in C# and ASP.Net 

• Working knowledge of HTTP and RESTful services 

• Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs. 

• Experience working in an Agile development environment. 

• Web & Mobile technologies and frameworks such as: Bootstrap, React, Redux, React Native, TypeScript, Telerik, and Backbone.js 

• Cloud Services administration – preferably AWS (S3, EC2, Lambdas, etc.) 

• Design and develop comprehensive automated unit and regression tests. 

• Design and develop comprehensive CI/CD solutions.  

 Where:  
The DynaScape office is located in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Our team primarily works from home, however, we do meet in our office for team meetings or social events quite frequently. The ideal candidate should be located close enough to the office so that they can come in on these occasions.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $85000 to $110000 CAD per year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
