We are looking for a Data & Analytics Intern to focus on our EverCommerce data environment. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Data & Analytics team, contributing to the development of our tech stack and success of our data program initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting program build out, gathering data and managing various data components. Additionally, you will be involved in the research, conceptualization, and development of real-life data solutions, big and small. In addition to working on varied, impactful projects and tasks, you will have the opportunity to engage with data professionals for both personal and professional development, expand your network, and develop the tolls and methodologies used in real-world settings.

Responsibilities:

• Build small- to mid-size business intelligence (BI) solutions – data sets, queries, reports, dashboards, analyses – or components of larger solutions to answer business questions with data
• Use welldefined requirements to build visualizations that enables effective, data-driven business decisions within specific deadlines
• Create and populate data structures modeled in SQL and orchestrated in DBT and Airflow
• Write secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code with minimal defects, and automate manual processes where possible
•  Use one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Looker, PowerBI) and to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
•  Invent, refine, and develop BI solutions to ensure they meet the needs of the business and team goals
• Troubleshoot data, analyses, and code, research root causes, propose solutions, and take ownership in next steps for their resolutions
•  Support the maintenance of the data team's environment

Qualifications:

• Currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, computer science,computer engineering, information management/systems, data, business analytics or other equivalent technical disciplines
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL
• Experience with data querying or modeling with SQL
• Experience building and maintaining basic data artifacts (e.g., ETL, data models, queries)
• Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools like PowerBI and Looker

What we are looking for:

• Rising juniors and seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Applicants to be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis from June to August 2025.
• Must be willing to commit to a 10-week internship I the Summer of 2025 (June-August) on a full-time basis.
• Willing to learn and collaborate with your teammates.
• Enthusiastic about technology and committed to professional development
• High level of attention to detail/accuracy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•  Approaches projects with creativity and is willing to think outside of the box
•  Flexible and able to adapt to the unique challenges of working with multiple subsidiaries (predominantly focused on healthcare data)
•  Excellent team working and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner depending on the technical knowledge of the audience
• Proactive, motivated, curious, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Where: 
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States, preferably on PST – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation:
The target base compensation for this position is $20.00 USD per hour. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
