About the role 

We're looking for an experienced Engineering Team Lead to lead a multidisciplinary team building the data platforms and AI-powered services behind our fraud and risk intelligence products. 

This is a hands-on leadership role combining engineering management, software architecture, and modern data platform expertise. You'll lead Software Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts while driving technical excellence, scalable architecture, and high-impact product delivery. 

Beyond building systems, you'll ensure our products continuously improve through measurable data quality, model performance, and operational metrics. 

What you’ll do 

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Define the technical vision and architecture for scalable data platforms and AI-powered services.
• Build and scale distributed, cloud-native systems powering our fraud and risk intelligence products.
• Drive engineering excellence through best practices, technical leadership, and architectural reviews.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, Platform Engineering, and Operations to deliver impactful solutions.
• Continuously improve system reliability, data quality, model performance, and operational efficiency.
• Own team delivery, hiring, and the growth of a high-performing engineering culture. 

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Strong background designing scalable distributed backend systems.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar.
• Solid understanding of modern data platforms and large-scale data processing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
