Eurofins Forensics is the European leader in Forensic DNA and Toxicology Testing.

🤖 Experience, knowledge & skills 🤖

Extensive experience in a role that deals with system and solution design & significant programming experience, ideally with several programming languages and platforms
Experience in working with Cloud platforms, e.g., Azure, AWS, and GCP
Up-to-date knowledge of good software development practices and architectural patterns, ability to evaluate and apply those that are suitable for the specific situation: project, team, tech stack, business area
Ability to compare various architectural and technical solutions and make decisions based on experience and evidence
Ability to collaborate with people from multiple teams, departments, and legal entities with different technical focuses and understanding
Experience in mentoring others
Good presentation and solid argumentation skills

👩‍💻 What you will be doing 👨‍💻

Act as a go-to person for technical advice
Work on new and existing IT solutions
Effectively collaborate with software development teams and business to design and implement suitable software solutions
Provide mentorship to the development team, participate in code reviews, and pair programming to ensure that architectural principles and best practices are followed
Collaborate with development teams or work individually to build prototypes or proof-of-concept implementations to validate technical feasibility.
Collaboratively identify and address technical risks early in the development process, and identify already existing technical debt.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, sharing insights with colleagues, and advocating for the adoption of relevant innovations.
Encourage and take part in the creation of lightweight and effective documentation
