Work mode – Hybrid

Shift timings – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM OR 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Job Description

Experience Level:

Minimum 2 Years

We are seeking a technically skilled with at least 2 years of experience in IT support and hands-on expertise in VB scripting and Python. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, supporting end-users, and automating tasks using VBScript to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports including dashboards, parameterised reports, and data-driven subscriptions.
• Work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate reporting requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and datasets for efficient report generation.
• Create and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
• Design, develop, and maintain Crystal Reports for legacy and operational reporting needs.
• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency in reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support report enhancements and troubleshooting.
• Use Azure DevOps for version control, deployment pipelines, and task management.
• Develop and maintain VB scripts for automation, calculations, and system customisation (where applicable).
• Provide L2 support for reporting-related issues, including debugging and performance tuning.
• Maintain documentation for report designs, data models, and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data security, IT policies, and reporting standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in SSRS development and reporting solutions.

Strong expertise in:

• SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)
• SSRS report design, deployment, and optimisation
• Hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboard creation, DAX basics, data modelling).
• Good experience in Crystal Reports development and maintenance.
• Solid understanding of data analysis and data validation techniques.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, work items).
• Knowledge of VBScript / Visual Basic scripting for automation and customisation.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and incident management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
