Product Business Analyst - 'Cash and Banking'

Role & Responsibilities

• Build strong, trusted relationships with business stakeholders across divisions, acting as their primary point of contact for IT‑related initiatives.
• Ensure business needs are clearly understood, translated, and supported through effective, high‑quality IT solutions.
• Act as the bridge between business teams and IT (development, design, and delivery), ensuring alignment from idea through implementation.
• Analyze business processes, challenges, and opportunities, and recommend practical, value‑adding solutions.
• Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of functional and non‑functional requirements using enterprise standards and methodologies.
• Assess new initiatives, applications, and enhancements against business requirements, feasibility, and strategic fit.
• Support projects throughout the full lifecycle—from early analysis and business case development to testing, deployment, and post‑implementation support.
• Safeguard the agreed business scope and proactively manage changes, risks, and impacts in collaboration with sponsors and IT teams.
• Prepare and deliver clear communications and presentations on proposed solutions, options, and system enhancements to business and senior stakeholders.

Role Overview

As a key interface between business and IT, you play a critical role in shaping solutions that support operational, tactical, and strategic change. You understand the business drivers behind transformation initiatives and translate them into well‑defined, viable IT solutions that deliver measurable value.

You bring strong market awareness and deep understanding of internal stakeholders, enabling you to propose solutions that meet both current and future business needs.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead business and process analysis for complex initiatives and contribute to the development of robust business cases, including risk and impact assessments.
• Translate business needs into structured, high‑quality requirements documentation that supports successful delivery.
• Provide expert guidance and advisory support to business sponsors, helping them navigate change and make informed decisions.
• Support IT teams throughout development, testing, and deployment phases to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
• Act as a reference point for business analysis best practices, continuously applying and promoting high standards of analysis and delivery.
• Where applicable, lead or mentor a small team of business analysts, supporting their development and performance.
• Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving alignment even in complex or sensitive change contexts.

Profile

• This role requires deep knowledge of business operations, strong analytical capability, and a solid understanding of IT delivery processes, gained through involvement in multiple significant change initiatives. 
• Expertise in Cash and Banking Services is a key asset, as you will mainly be responsible for the evolution of our Cash and Banking Services
• You are recognized for your advisory skills, ability to manage ambiguity, and talent for turning complexity into clear, actionable solutions.
