About The Role & Team

We are adding a Program Manager, Project Development & Capital Markets to our Services Team. Reporting to the Director, Development, this individual will work within the Development Vertical to build, manage, and lead complex development and capital markets client engagements and initiatives in conjunction with a world-class team.

What You’ll Do

Program Strategy:

  • Set and hold the program strategy for high-profile client engagements focused on supporting complex project development and capital markets scopes of work in conjunction with Director, Development and team.
  • Improve and refine existing program framework to facilitate key project development and financing workstreams supporting development, debt, back-leverage, tax equity, and credit rating activities between internal and external client teams ensuring smooth execution from initiation to closing.
  • Serve as Euclid's main client contact for all commercial matters both internal and external and key representative for our client and client’s development and finance counterparties. Address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide excellent customer support, focusing on resolving client and team challenges and ultimately being responsible for delivering the expected outcome of the program.
  • Leverage a strong technical acumen in project development and finance best practices to provide strategic guidance to the internal team, Clients, and cross-functional partners through key project development and financing workstreams.

Leadership:

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the assigned program team, which may include direct personnel management.
  • Support and manage the team in a coaching capacity, delivering regular feedback, support, and identifying growth opportunities in conjunction with the Director, Development.
  • Implement redundancy and accountability strategies in each workstream by promoting cross-training throughout all program levels.
  • Ensure the team complies with Euclid’s processes and commitments, inclusive of standard operating procedures, playbooks, and adhering to work orders or contract terms.
  • Model behavior that aligns with Euclid's commitment to creating a broader culture of best practices, support, and accountability. Promote the expectations around Euclid standards, values, rules of engagement, etc.

Business:

  • Management of the profit and loss (P&L) for assigned client programs in conjunction with the Director, Development, including evaluating the program’s budget monthly and analyzing budget metrics to ensure sufficient funding for the remaining scope of work, P&L tracking, and required resource loading.
  • Drive the creation and management of the capital markets program strategy, working with the Director, Development to achieve Euclid’s goals and objectives.
  • Support business development initiatives for prospective and existing clients within the sales pipeline in line with the assigned program(s). This includes identifying new opportunities within the current program and building strong relationships with existing clients that align with the assigned program.
  • Stay current with industry trends and market developments while providing new and innovative ways to improve the team's overall effectiveness, products, and sales approach.
  • Continuously improve offering and customer experience by gathering feedback, implementing process enhancements, and ensuring seamless engagement experiences for customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate internal initiatives through structured planning, staff oversight from ideation to improvement, selecting skilled champions, and facilitating strategic vision for program and company-wide initiatives in line with the Service Delivery team’s framework.
  • Empower the team to productize the software and collaborate with the Product team to influence the design architecture of new products based on feedback from internal teams and clients.
  • Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments, adhering to company policies and legal requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in renewable energy project development and finance, with 4+ years directly managing capital markets transactions.
  • Expert understanding of project development, project financing, capital markets, market tax equity and debt structures, transaction management including independent engineering (IE), insurance, asset management, etc. workstreams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and executing multiple C&I and/or utility-scale PV, PV + storage, or standalone storage projects
  • Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience efficiently managing sub-consultants, vendors, third-party engineering/design firms, etc.
  • Strong technical acumen and a firm grasp of project development/finance best practices, standard equipment, permitting requirements & processes, design best practices, standard QA/QC protocols, contracting & negotiation, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Full knowledge of the renewable energy project lifecycle - including key project value drivers, project development, financing, deployment, and asset management
  • Complete understanding of project and operations management principles and customer success methods and best practices
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, project management, economics or related fields - preferred, but not required

The starting base pay for this role is between $190,000 and $225,000 with an equity award as part of your all-in compensation. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
