Senior iOS Engineer II, Buyer Ads Experience

• Collaborate across Product, Design, Analytics, Research, and Engineering to build compelling ad experiences.
• Run A/B experiments to validate product improvements.
• Confidently communicate technical issues with all vital stakeholders.
• Lead and assist in performing product testing including unit, functional, visual, etc.
• In collaboration with your team, craft and improve processes that impact iOS app development across Etsy.

• 8 + years of professional iOS development experience, ideally in a product-focused environment.
• Proficiency in Swift, with basic understanding of Objective-C for effective interaction.
• Strong product engineering skills, with the ability to understand user problems and deliver impactful solutions.
• Experience with iOS development, debugging tools, and practices.
• Effective collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Managers, Designers, QA, engineers).
• Proficiency in version control tools (git and GitHub).
• Unit testing experience.
• Ability to define and solve complex problems autonomously and collaboratively.
• Eagerness to learn new systems and technologies.
• A “leave it better than you found it” approach, with a willingness to improve existing code.
