About the Job

As a Senior Project Electrical Design Engineer at Ethos, you will work within Data Centre sector. Have a thorough grasp of electrical design and engineering techniques. With a confidence in working independently and in support of the team, ensuring successful completion of designs to meet construction timelines and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Electrical Services design for a range of projects.

• Design and specification of electrical services for various types of buildings and sectors.

• Produce detailed schematics.

• Develop the electrical design standards within the organisation.

• Mentor junior engineering staff.

• Provide fully detailed tender packages and monitor installation/quality on site until project completion.

• Tender report/analysis/recommendations.

• Develop project scope with the design team/client.

• Confidently use Microsoft Office, Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT.

• Produce budgets and reports for clients.

• Attend site visits.

• Take lead on projects with minimal input from the management team.

About You

• Honours Degree – Chartered an advantage but not essential.

• 10+ years as a Senior Engineer.

• Must have electrical building services design experience within Data Centre engineering projects.

• In-depth knowledge of electrical design and engineering techniques.

• Deep knowledge of ETCI, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Standards.

• Working knowledge of Autocad, Dialux, Amtech, and REVIT an advantage.

• Confident leading projects from the concept stage to completion.

• Communicative and able to liaise with clients, architects, and project managers.

• Manage the specification and design of Electrical Building Services systems for a range of projects.

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
