Overview
We welcome you to make a lasting impact on the ArcGIS Data Reviewer team, where you will help design and test software that powers ArcGIS platform support for rule-based, geospatial data validation and quality control. In this role, you will test, certify, and release the software used by a large community of GIS professionals to power the operations of their organizations. Working with robust technology, you’ll collaborate with other passionate product engineers to deliver capabilities enabling our customers to make a difference worldwide. In this role you using your GIS background and expertise along with user interactions to define software features, test them, create user help for them, demonstrate and bring them to market.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product Manager to establish software backlog needs, priorities, and define release themes
- Author user stories that define new feature capabilities that guide the software development process
- Demonstrate software capabilities at iteration and stakeholder review meetings
- Serve as point of contact to development team on acceptance criteria for features being developed
- Contribute to user interface design for tools, features, and capabilities being developed in ArcGIS Pro
- Author and execute test plans; build and manage testing dataset (N-path testing, acceptance testing, regression testing)
- Create automated tests Author user guide documentation. Serve as technical point of contact to practice team and solution engineers
- Provide technical review of user guide documentation for accuracy, completeness, and usability
- Can work remotely
Requirements
- One (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained
- Applicants must also have demonstrated experience with ArcGIS Pro; GIS Data management; 3D Data; and Cad/Autodesk
- Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Information Systems, IT, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field of study
