We are seeking experienced ICT Architects to join our Global GIC Supporting Services GSS Network, part of Service Area Networks (SAN) Lab Operations. Our scope is to provide a reliable infrastructure service delivery in global standardized Information & Communication Technology (ICT) environments based on both hardware and software-based design the aim is to deliver a stable and cost-effective environment to different R&D units within Ericsson. Part of our exciting journey ahead, we're seeking new colleagues to reinforce our Network team’s capabilities in area of Network architecture and design. You will work in close collaboration with all architects and operations engineers with strive to provide our DevOps teams and the network operations community with robust, scalable and protocol compliant Network architectures and designs for network services.

 

What you will do:

The Network DevSecOps Lead will take an overall responsibility for all DevSecOps activities in Network domain, interact with the Product Owner and advocate for modern best practices within DevSecOps:

- Develop and maintain security compliant products (applications, systems and solutions). The role is involved in the full life cycle of a product and it is responsible for both development and operational activities.

- Work closely with business to understand stakeholder requirements and act in accordance with the agile methodology principles.

- Support IT Escalation Management by communicating the performance, updates or changes of the service.

- Support resource planning activities in relation to the capacity/ availability required for each service

- Perform continuous analysis of requirements to understand impact of the existing product

- Design test strategy and conduct to create specific test plan

- Analyze system wide impacts of requirements on architecture

- Ensure adherence to architecture and security guidelines

- Create and maintain integration strategy

- Stay informed about ongoing development in the product area

- Collaborate with other business units to understand how automation can improve workflow

- Incorporate security checks in all stages of the software development workflow

- Drive professional networks (e.g. Knowledge Area, Community of Practice)

- Drive and promote continuous improvements of products, services and processes, as an integrated part of the development work

- Acts as a competence builder in the organization through presentations, lectures, and/or workshops

 

Required skills:

- A University degree in a related technical field or the equivalent level of knowledge.

- Deep understanding of network technologies with Juniper or equivalent: routing/ switching, firewall, BGP/MPLS and EVPN+VXLAN infrastructures, IP services.

- Excellent knowledge of requirement engineering concept. Excellent knowledge in development practices such as Python; REST API's and JSON; Perl; GIT/Gerrit and GitLab.

- Understanding of cloud technologies such as: Openstack, VMWare, Kubernetes.
