About this opportunity:

We are now looking for a Software Developer C++ that will supply to the creation of customer solutions in 4G and 5G networks. You will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle; working towards accurately engineered information systems, containing software as the major component, to meet agreed business requirements.

What you will do

• deliver common IP transport features for LTE and 5G Ericsson Radio Network solutions;
• develop IP based solutions including routing, security features, quality of service, optimized for Radio Technologies (5G);
• focus on software architecture, product quality, continuous delivery and integration;
• be organized in cross functional team to deliver end to end solutions;
• implement features according to requirements, including coding, feature testing, and product documentation;
• adapt existing software to the new hardware products;
• research new possibilities, ideas and solutions
• work in an international environment based on cooperation;

You will bring

• commercial experience in C++ programming (3-5 years);
• familiarity with design patterns/clean code
• examples of driven projects and/or product responsibilities
• knowledge of 4G/5G systems or other Radio technology
• knowledge of version control systems (GIT, Gerrit);
• knowledge of Linux command line;
• Software Testing skills, knowledge of Google C++ Mocking Framework is an asset;
• Good spoken and written English skills;

Additional requirements:

• knowledge of functional programming languages (Erlang, Prolog);
• experience in using scripting languages (Perl, Python, Bash);
• knowledge of Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, TDD, CI) and Lean;

This role is a hybrid model role (3 days from the office in Łódź and 2 days from home weekly).
