About this opportunity:

BNEW SAN Lab Operations is providing infrastructure services in R&D IT and Test environment. As an ICT Architect in the Security & Architecture unit in BNEW SAN Lab Operations, your role is to ensure that we have the input needed to make informed technical decisions and to push innovation within our organization. We drive this in alignment with our partner organizations who are using and managing R&D IT Development and Test environment
We in Security and Architecture unit in BNEW SAN Lab Operation, are responsible to ensure that services provided by BNEW SAN Lab Ops are compliant to mandatory security and architecture requirements. We also support driving the relevant technology changes in our service delivery for Ericsson's R&D community to have the best possible test & development environment and deliver high-quality products.

What you will do:

• As an enterprise architect in our team, in this role, your responsibilities will include owning/driving technical inquiries and collaborating with others to improve the working environment for our users. This includes driving both high level and detailed architectural studies within Lab Operations and jointly with other stakeholders on R&D IT level. As an enterprise architect you are expected to have a strong holistic thinking to have an overall architectural responsibility for the services that we provide in all of our global labs. 
• Your job will include understanding our architecture today and the services we offer. This will help you shepherd the organization forward as we continue our transformation into a DevSecOps service delivery organization. Today, Lab Operations offers services for physical lab infrastructure, HW asset management services, and infrastructure services including the areas of networking, storage, management infrastructure, and security. If you have broad IT knowledge, that's excellent! If you also have particular skills in one or more areas, that's an excellent merit.

The skills you bring:

•    Architectural experience within the IT area, including Enterprise Architecture
•    Broad understanding of relevant technologies, i.e., storage solutions, IT security, IP networking, and their use in large enterprise environments
•    Expertise in one area is beneficial
•    Hands-on experience with today's IT systems, giving your technological expertise a foundation in today's reality
•    A desire for technological excellence and knowledge, including (but not necessarily limited to):

o    Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
o    AI, Machine learning, and automation in IT
o    Datacenter and WAN networking
o    Storage, both today's and software-defined storage systems
o    Monitoring systems
o    Enabling services such as time services, DNS, DHCP, etc.

•    A collaborative spirit since our team only succeeds when working with others to reach our goals
•    A wide contact network within Ericsson or a demonstrable ability to build such a network
•    Good organizational skills for handling a constantly evolving work environment
•    Skills to independently drive studies across virtual teams within or across R&D IT organizations
•    Knowledge in Information and IT Security processes (ISMS/ISO27k) and technology are a benefit
