About this opportunity

We are now looking for a Tools and Methods Engineer to craft tools supporting service deliveries and also to identify new business opportunities for Ericsson in the given service area. You will participate in the following activities of the product development lifecycle: analyzing initial requirements and business needs, specifying functionality, verifying software solutions, supporting tool users and to provide marketing support and competence development related to them. Your responsibility is further to ensure that all solution deliveries to customers are made in a professional manner, achieving customer happiness and securing profitability for Ericsson.

What you will do

· You use cloud native technologies and tools to develop our 5G products on a container-based micro-service architecture

· You will develop automation tools to improve build and delivery efficiency

· Identify bottlenecks and problems throughout the infrastructure

· Have experience writing applications.

· Drive continuous improvements of products and processes

· Develop competence in technical domain.

· Take part of a dynamic department where there will be opportunities for learning, trying out new roles and responsibilities and much more.

Required Qualification:

· 4 plus years of industry experience providing hands-on technical expertise in design.

· Integration (build), continuous deployment (CD), and optimizing cloud services.

· Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, Jenkins/GitLab, Ansible and canary deployments.

· Experience working with any Deployment/Configuration management tool like Ansible/Chef/Puppet.

· Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) will be huge plus. Linux and networking Advanced (configuring SSL, Overlay2, Storage Driver, N/W Plugin, IPTables,TCP/UDP etc.)

· Software development experience in Bash/ Python is a must have. Experience in multiple security domains including security strategy and risk management, security assessments.

· Experience developing pipeline using Spinnaker/Jenkins and experience Debugging Pipeline issues.

· Good knowledge on Application and Infrastructure (hosts and servers) performance monitoring tools and taking actions based on various thresholds (e.g Zabbix, Dynatrace, Azure, Nagstamon, Jenkins Jobs, etc)

· Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate well within the team

You will bring

Work with the development teams to design scalable, robust systems using cloud native architectural principles.

· Build automation using industry standard tools to deploy hundreds of different services.

· Outstanding collaboration, communication and innovation skills
