In EMEA Service Line BSS/OSS South Balkans we are looking for a Solution Architect to participate in BSS offer preparations and projects and to analyze, prepare, implement and verify the configuration and integration of a BSS DMP Digital Monetization Platform solution (mainly Ericsson Billing/BSCS but also Ericsson OrderCare/Catalog Manager, Mediation or Charging Systems as well as large-scale IT BOS Transformation projects).
The employee will be based in Sofia and will part of a larger Team of ~25 employees in 4 different countries in the Southern Balkans. The role is part of customer team and work in customer premises or remotely for the customer wherever possible.
What you will do
• Presales and Analysis: Responsible for analyzing, designing & developing commercially viable end-to-end technical IT BSS solutions for the customers. Develop technical presentations and proposals, and perform customer presentations. Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about solution to enable customer build.
• Integration: Configuration and integration of Ericsson’s DMP solution (work with the customer on-site or from the back-office as a member of the implementation team)
• Development: Design, develop adapters and interfaces on the Billing, EOC/ECM APIs and tools. Participation on business configuration in accordance to customer's service contract.
• Support: Assist the local support team on investigating technical problems on DMP, troubleshoot systems that are in operation and if requested, participate in the remedy of systems in case of critical situations.
The skills you bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• More than 5 years of experience in Telecom IT BSS/OSS (OrderCare/Catalog, Billing, Mediation or Charging platforms)
• Exposure to Ericsson Billing/BSCS or Ericsson OrderCare/CatalogManager and secondary on Ericsson Mediation or Charging would be a plus
• Positive attitude with a passion to win.
• Ability to perform in a multi-tasking and team-oriented environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Ability to engage with the customer, deliver results & meet customer expectations
• General "open source" knowledge, "hands on" approach and a "can do" attitude
• Fluency in Bulgarian and English.
• Required European Union (EU) Work Permit/Residency.
Technical skills:
Good knowledge on some of the following:
• Oracle database system administration and PL/SQL development
• Java/JavaScript and the relevant ecosystems (tools and APIs)
• XML/HTTP, HTML, JSON, BPML Workflows, WSDL and Web Services/SOAP/REST APIs and frameworks
• Shell scripting experience, Python and Groovy scripting languages
• Development environment Velocity Studio, Eclipse
• Linux system administration
• Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices.
• Agile, devops and CI/CD methodologies
• Exposure to open-source technologies
• Good GSM and Telecom IT understanding
• Experience with technical trouble shooting
