About this opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented RAN (Radio Access Network) Performance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience in RAN performance monitoring and optimization. As part of our team, you will play a key role in analyzing and improving the performance of the radio network to ensure it meets quality, capacity, and coverage standards.
What you will do:
• Monitor and analyze RAN performance, ensuring KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) are met across the network.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of performance issues.
• Optimize and enhance RAN network performance through data-driven insights and solutions.
• Conduct performance reporting, generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports on KPIs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to address performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide support for network capacity planning and future performance improvements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure network performance meets customer expectations.
• Assist in the validation and testing of new network equipment and software upgrades.
• Maintain and update network performance databases and monitoring systems.
Key Qualifications:
• B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-5 years of hands-on experience in RAN performance monitoring and optimization.
• Strong understanding of RAN architecture and technologies such as LTE, 5G, and related protocols.
• Familiarity with RAN performance management tools (e.g., NetAct, TEMS, etc.).
• Good knowledge of network KPIs (e.g., call drop rate, throughput, latency, handover success, etc.).
• Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis in a mobile network environment.
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
