At Equativ, we are on a mission to develop advertising technologies that empower our customers to reach their digital business goals. We rely on automated infrastructure setup and automated deployment of massively scalable, widely distributed, highly available and efficient software systems. The platform deals with over 1 million requests per second in real time auctions on an average latency of 4ms. Our distributed team works remotely or is based in Berlin, Paris, Krakow, Limoges and Nantes and is composed of 90 innovative and energetic engineers working in an Agile environment and ready to tackle the most complex technical challenges.
What You Will Do ✏️
Software development is the focus of this position, this is a pure engineering role. Your experience with architectures, best practices in software development process, clean code will allow you to speed the team's capabilities and delivery.
- You will code the best path to achieve functional product requirements (encoding, channel DB + UI) observing deadlines and non-functional (speed, scalability), requirements.
- You'll also optimize algorithms using your own insights, and quick to pick up on new technologies or apply best of breed solutions.
- You'll be proactive in communication matters, from dailies to merge reviews, you're organized and live the clean coding guidelines.

Your Skills 💡
- You have been tech lead of a small team in a quality oriented environment
- Node.js and UI Javascript, optionally Golang or polyglot
- HTML5 Media Service Extensions familiarity
- FFMpeg
- Provable experience writing clean code and use of: eslint, prettier, husky, gitlab-ci, docker, strict MR workflow, automated versioning
- MongoDB, optionally any TSDB
- Optional DevOps knowledge: with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform+Helm, Gitlab, Jenkins, Slack API, Grafana, Micro-Service Architecture, bash, python
