Software Engineer – Android TV

• Design, develop, and maintain Android TV applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Build TV-optimized UI using Jetpack Compose for Android TV and/or Leanback.
• Implement D-pad, remote navigation, and focus management.
• Integrate and optimize Media3 / ExoPlayer and other Player SDKs.
• Implement HLS/DASH streaming and Widevine DRM.
• Integrate REST APIs and implement Coroutines & Flow.
• Follow MVVM / Clean Architecture and use Hilt/Dagger for dependency injection.
• Debug and optimize application performance across different Android TV devices.
• Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.

• 2–4 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong hands-on Android TV development experience.
• Good command of Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with OTT, video streaming, or media applications is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of TV navigation, focus handling, media playback, streaming, and DRM.
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
