Envestnet | Yodlee is seeking a Data Science Intern to join our Technology department. This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required at our Raleigh, NC office location.

Job Summary:

At Yodlee, we’re looking for a driven and motivated Data Science Intern to join our fast-paced, ever-evolving tech organization. You excel in technical skills and have a desire to learn more.

As a Data Science Intern, you will collaborate with our Data Science and Product teams to enhance and optimize machine learning models, including deep learning and large language models, by leveraging continuously evolving external data. Your work will involve fine-tuning, adapting, and retraining models to ensure they remain effective in dynamic real-world scenarios.

You will have the opportunity to explore model improvement techniques, evaluate operational efficiencies, and apply cutting-edge methodologies to maintain high accuracy and scalability. The role may also involve literature research, experimentation, and system development to improve model adaptability across different use cases.

This internship offers a hands-on experience in machine learning, model optimization, and problem-solving in a fast-paced, innovative environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to understand technical challenges related to ML/DL/LLM model degradation over time.
  
• Conduct research and data analysis to design scalable solutions for continuous model adaptation.
  
• Utilize appropriate technologies (Python, SQL, data engineering, ML frameworks) to develop and implement solutions.
  
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reusable, and automated for long-term model improvement and maintenance.
  
• Document project progress, including reports and presentations, to communicate findings effectively.
  
• Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.  
  
• As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
  

Required Qualifications: 

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in ML frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, NLTK, SageMaker) and SQL.
  
• Hands-on experience with data cleansing, transformation, and building predictive models/classifiers.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Familiarity with Shell scripting, project management tools (e.g., Jira), and Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) is a plus.
  
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Envestnet’s Summer Internship Program: 

Envestnet’s Summer Internship Program provides a paid, 10-week, full-time experience for qualified students to learn more about Envestnet and what we do. Interns will receive hands on exposure to the inner workings of their teams and functions.

The 2025 Summer Internship program will begin on June 9th, 2025, and will conclude on August 15th, 2025. All interns must be a commutable distance to an office location and will be expected to work in office.
