Job Title ServiceNow Automation Test Engineer – SOMT / ServiceNow / Telecom Domain
Experience 4–8 Years
· 1 Senior Developer (~8 years of experience)
· 1 Junior Developer (~4 years of experience)
Work Timings
· 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM IST OR 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM IST
 
Required Key Skills
Core – Python & Automation Testing (Mandatory)
1. Strong experience in developing Python-based automation frameworks and converting manual test cases into automated scripts using Python.
2. Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Robot Framework or PyTest (Robot preferred).
3. Proven experience in building test strategies, writing detailed test cases based on requirements, and executing automation testing.
4. End-to-end lifecycle testing experience (Manual + Automation), including Integration and Performance testing of applications such as ServiceNow / SOMT.
5. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and SOAP UI, along with strong defect lifecycle management knowledge.
6. Experience in automating UI and Portal applications.
7. Hands-on experience with REST APIs.
8. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab.
9. Strong understanding of STLC within Agile environments.
 
Preferred Skills
· Experience in ServiceNow / SOMT testing (Manual + Automation).
· Experience automating ServiceNow UI and Portal applications.
· Experience working with ServiceNow REST APIs.
· Knowledge of Telecom OSS/BSS workflows.
· Experience with ServiceNow Sales & Order Management (SOM / SOMT).
· Basic understanding of TM Forum standards (SID, eTOM).
· Experience testing integrations with external Telecom systems.
· Strong overall experience in ServiceNow testing (Manual + Automation).
 
Not Suitable
· No experience in Python.
· No experience developing automation frameworks in Python
