Position Summary:  

The senior engineer of industrial engineering is responsible for a safe, reliable and efficient operation of the process involving membrane, filter cartridge, filter, injection molding components and Slurry and support Senior Manager of Industrial Engineering in driving the continuous improvement with respect to yield, capacity, reliability, quality, energy and cost effectiveness.  

Primary Responsibilities and Duties 

SHE 

• Organize and perform training sessions about process safety related topics. 

• Support site management team in incident investigation in terms of root cause analysis, design, review and implementation of the required safety measures from process safety perspective. 

• Participate the Company Sustainability program at site. 

• Participate process risk assessment during NPD and lead the process risk review triggered by change of management and new project within the scope of site operations.   

Process management  

• Initiation and realization of process optimizations (short-, mid- and long-term)    

• Preparation, follow-up and reporting of plant trials in relation to NPI or continuous improvement. 

• Analysis of process upsets (RCA and implementation of appropriate measures)    

• Collaborate with techncial engineers of Maintenance Department to drive the continuous improvement of automation and control strategy.  

• Maintain all relevant process related documentation is up to date and available in shart point.  

• Development and maintaining of process related training documentation. 

Projects and Change of management  

• Lead engineering for process related projects. 

• Participate the MOC process in terms of risk assessment, technical document preparation, training, validation and qualification of the change.   

• Act as a CI coordinator of the site for leading the CI projects (ideation, initiation, execution, control). 

Support in reporting and production scheduling  

• Formulation and consolidation of relevant reports for better tracking the performance (daily, weekly and monthly report etc.)  

• Coordinate with production supervisors and production planners on the detailed production scheduling and production progress tracking.  

• Analyze the constraints of production in order for continuous optimization of lead time.  

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor/master’s degree in chemical and industrial engineering with logic thinking.  

• knowledge and experience in process management/industrial machinery/industrial process system design is preferred.   

• Knowledge of SAP, and other engineering project system Accolade. 

• Experience in project management to understand project’s budget, timeline and risk control, etc. 

• Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and implementation of operations excellence methodologies, including lean, 6 sigma, and etc. Six sigma green belt is a must. Six sigma black belt is preferred.  

• Possess strong analytical troubleshooting and problem solving skills. 

• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work with competing deadlines. 

• Curiosity of cutting-edge technology/process in manufacturing industry. 

• Proficient in MS Office package (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint), and English
