Job Description

We are actively seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role revolves around the creation of information systems, involving a deep dive into operational analysis, software design and development, and software team support. We're on the lookout for individuals with a strong aptitude for Object-Oriented Programming and a knack for crafting software solutions that transcend specific technologies.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in .NET, C#, and MongoDB to design, develop, and maintain robust enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep experience building scalable and resilient applications leveraging both NoSQL and relational databases, integrating APIs, and optimizing database performance. This position will be an integral part of a highly focused team building a robust practice management solution for mental health providers.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications using .NET (Core and Framework) and C#.
  • Build scalable, resilient, and high-performing solutions that support mission-critical healthcare workflows.
  • Partner with product managers, architects, and engineering peers to define and deliver innovative product capabilities.
  • Drive technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions that support long-term platform growth and scalability.
  • Design and optimize MongoDB data models, indexing strategies, and performance tuning solutions.
  • Champion engineering best practices, including clean code principles, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD excellence.
  • Collaborate within an Agile environment to rapidly deliver customer-focused enhancements and features.
  • Integrate third-party applications, APIs, and internal microservices to create seamless user experiences.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to modernize systems, reduce technical debt, and improve overall platform performance and reliability.
  • Leverage modern engineering tools, including AI-assisted development capabilities, to increase efficiency, code quality, and innovation.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement scalable long-term solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers, share technical expertise, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Contribute to the evolution of engineering standards, development frameworks, and architectural best practices across the organization.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on .NET technologies.
  • Deep expertise in C# and .NET application development.
  • Strong experience working with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience designing scalable, distributed, and maintainable enterprise applications.
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and modern software design patterns.
  • Experience working with Git, source control best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance technical excellence with business outcomes and customer needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience building or supporting microservices-based architectures.
  • Front-end development experience using React (preferred) or Angular.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered development tools for code generation, testing automation, documentation, or productivity enhancements.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Healthcare technology or SaaS experience is a plus.

Additional Information

While we've outlined some key qualities we typically seek, it's essential to remember that there might be additional unique strengths and talents you possess that would make you an exceptional match for us, even if they're not explicitly mentioned. Studies have consistently highlighted the significance of this principle, particularly for individuals from disenfranchised backgrounds, including women and other marginalized groups. These individuals often hesitate to apply unless they meet every single requirement, unlike their male counterparts who are more inclined to apply when they meet around 60% of the criteria.

The message we want to convey is that taking a leap of faith and applying can be incredibly rewarding. Your distinct abilities and perspectives could be exactly what we need to create a more diverse and inclusive team. So, don't hesitate—apply today and let's explore the exciting possibilities together!
