Description
We’re seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join our team, focusing on building and maintaining web applications with a strong emphasis on both backend development using Ruby on Rails and contributing to frontend components built with React. A background in Test-Driven Development (TDD) is essential, as we prioritise clean, reliable, and scalable code.

At Enhance, we're a small (but mighty!) team building and improving our flagship application Mosaic. You'll work alongside product managers, designers, and other developers to conceive and build features and improvements, primarily using Ruby on Rails and React.

We believe in agility, iteration, continual improvement, and continuous deployment. We use modern development workflows based on GitHub, pull requests, code reviews, and automated tooling to optimise productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimise backend features using Ruby on Rails with MySQL as the database.
  • Implement and enhance frontend functionality with React, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
  • Write clean, testable code using TDD best practices.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to build user-focused features.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high-standard engineering culture.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
