Description
EnerMech is hiring a Senior Project Engineer to support project execution within our Guyana operations. This role is responsible for technical oversight, coordination of engineering teams, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate multi-discipline engineering activities
- Act as Lead Engineer on smaller-scale projects
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
- Review and develop engineering drawings, schematics, and documentation
- Monitor scope, schedule, cost, and progress against project milestones
- Interface directly with clients regarding technical requirements and updates
- Support procurement and equipment/material selection
- Participate in project kick-off meetings and execution planning
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with contractors as required
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, QA/QC procedures, and HSE policies
- Support reporting requirements including progress updates and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years of Oil & Gas industry experience
- Experience coordinating engineering teams
- Strong working knowledge of project execution processes
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
