Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

• Read diagrams and schematic drawings, and service manuals to determine work procedures.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair overhead cranes.
• Repair hoists, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical knowledge via ongoing training, industry workshops, and technical reading.
• Carry out a preventative maintenance program for onshore and offshore cranes.
• Observe competitive activities. Contribute to the company's image and reputation.
• Manage and maintain assigned tools and equipment.
• Maintain and follow driving guidelines for the assigned company vehicle.
• Must be able to identify all types of crane components.
• Identify and request replacement parts in order to perform repairs.
• Complete all paperwork thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
• Follow and comply with Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
• Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Prepare cranes and other lifting equipment for ROK inspection, arrange all paper work.

Requirements

• BS in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent diploma.
• Must have Liebherr/Litronic system calibration training certificates, Liebherr RL/BOS crane maintenance, inspection and overhaul training certificates.
• Minimum of ten (10) years' experience working  (i.e, diagnosing/troubleshooting) on lifting equipment and accessories and Offshore pedestal cranes (Liebherr).
• Understand full operations of pneumatic, electric, mechanical principles, machinery alignment, rigging etc.
• Must be familiar with crane rigging procedures.
• Relevant crane and lifting equipment maintenance and trade records, e.g. training records in crane hydraulic system, electrical system, crane SCADA system calibration etc.
• English proficiency in verbal and written communication, upper intermediate level.
• Leadership skills in the areas of Authenticity, Growth, Collaboration and Performance.
• Able to perform tasks independently.
