What is the role?

As an RF Design Engineer at EnduroSat, you will be instrumental in the design and development of RF electronics for our cutting-edge satellite communication systems. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to optimize the performance of our products. Your role will include identifying areas for improvement, solving complex RF challenges, and ensuring that our designs meet manufacturing and performance requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining detailed technical documentation throughout the development process.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

• Designing and optimizing RF electronics for satellite communication systems, using RF and EM simulation tools.
• Collaborating with a team of hardware, software, and mechanical engineers to identify and solve RF-related challenges.
• Performing RF testing, analysis, and results interpretation using specialized RF test equipment and techniques.
• Ensuring that PCB layouts for power, analog, and RF circuitry are manufacturable and meet industry standards.
• Preparing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, technical reports, and presentations to support the design and development process.

What do we look for?

• University degree in Radio Communications/ Electronics / Electrical Engineering or similar
• At least 3 years working in the industry, delivering against tight timescales and being adaptable to changing requirements
• Knowledge of RF electronics, including RF test equipment, test techniques, and results analysis
• Proficiency in electronics design tools, RF and EM simulation tools
• Experience in PCB layout for power, analogue, and RF circuitry
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes to ensure the design is manufacturable
• Provide documentation, technical reports, and presentation as required
• Fluent English

How to Stand Out:
