Job Description

Our data team has expertise across engineering, analysis, architecture, modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science. This discipline is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, building robust data infrastructures, and enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation through advanced analytics and predictive modeling. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop the architecture for the data pipelines and implement it using Python
• Actively involved in onboarding data sources through data pipelines - ingestion, transformations, data storing, and orchestration of the pipelines
• Experience with data migration projects between systems hosted in different hosting environments (on-premises, AWS, Azure, etc.) 
• Advise on technical aspects of solution development and ensure correct application of strategies, policies, standards, and practices, including security
• Provide expert guidance on database and data warehouse architectures, software, and facilities
• Ensures design supports performance and availability, and data warehouse design meets business intelligence and analytics needs
• Adopt suitable methods and techniques, monitor adherence to standards, including security, and contribute to organizational policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with large-scale data platforms and applications
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, PySpark)
• Experience leading teams and stakeholder management
• Strong data modeling skills (normalized and multidimensional)
• Experience with various Azure services for data processing and storage, data integration and analytics with Azure Synapse Workspaces
• Experience implementing ELT processes and Data pipelines
• Experience with major RDBMS (SQL Server preferred)
• Background and experience with data tools and technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift and other Data warehouse tools
• Experience with Real-time and Batch processing; serverless processing
• The ability to take the initiative, drive the project and innovate
• Advanced English speaking and writing abilities are required.
